We came away from Thornycroft Lodge after four full days feeling happy with our stay and without regrets. Tucked into the forest, it has a genuinely peaceful, serene feel. The staff were wonderfully attentive and the hospitality was hard to beat. My family and I would definitely recommend it. 👌🏾

Loyiso told us some fascinating stories about the lodge's history, which added a lot to the stay. He also made my wife, our baby, and me feel welcome, and upgraded our room. The place is tidy and quiet, with lovely rustic character. A good spot for hiking, unwinding, or getting away from stress.

Loyiso’s kindness and thoughtful attention made our stay memorable. He greeted us warmly, checked that we had what we needed, and shared useful local tips. The room was spotless, cozy, and ready for a relaxing night. Thorny Craft felt comfortable and well cared for, and we’d happily recommend it for both the cleanliness and the personal service.

We had a great time and plan to come back. The Thornycroft team was professional, friendly, and ready to go the extra mile to help. Big thanks to them for such good service.

We had a lovely time with our team and would return to Thornycroft. It’s a quiet, secluded place to get a break from everyday noise, and we had our own space even with other guests around. The lodge was very clean, with a rustic feel and a nicely done interior. Staff were kind and attentive. I thought the price was good for what we got, though a few small things could be improved by the owner.
