The location suited me perfectly, quiet and away from the bustle but still close to everything and the beach. Check-in was easy, parking felt safe and secure, and the room was super comfortable with everything I needed and more. I enjoyed my stay so much I wish I could travel more and stay here again.

They advertised the place as pet friendly and confirmed that, but when I arrived I was given a tiny room with no garden access for my dogs. Two days before moving in, they had asked me to pay the remaining 50% directly to them instead of the booking agent, and also told me the room needed to change. I wasn't happy with the room and was promised a refund. After I sent my bank details a few hours later, they said they'd changed their minds. By then, I had already booked and paid elsewhere based on their refund arrangement. They said they couldn't help because they had decided they didn't want to lose their commission. I ended up paying two establishments for a booking and room they changed at the last minute. The place is managed remotely, and this was a dreadful experience. They seemed very greedy.

The owner's son was so accommodating, helpful and friendly, and our clean, pleasant room had a relaxing feel. We enjoyed ourselves so much it was hard to leave, and we nearly overstayed our welcome! I'd definitely recommend Ballina to others.

I stayed from 29.10.2023 to 31.10.2023. The place itself is nice, but it is managed remotely and guests can't access reception. I had trouble getting an invoice when I asked for one, and still haven't received it.

The staff were friendly and gave good service when I stayed at Ballina Ga -el Guest House around 2015. It was luxurious and affordable. If I travel to P.E. again, I'll stay there and recommend it to my friends.
