I won’t stay here again. The room wasn’t a nice experience at all. Curtains were coming off the rail, the sliding door glass seemed to be falling out, and the door wouldn’t lock properly. There’s no shower curtain or door, so a shower leaves the whole bathroom floor wet. The water tastes salty, and the curtains don’t block the light from cars at the main gate, which lights up the entire room. Nearly every night there was loud music and a party under the lapa.

Hilary was really helpful and even carried my luggage. I had brought my own fan, so I was fine. It’s a good place to stay, with a very good bed and nice linen and cups. Thanks for making it comfortable. I’d stay here again.

There was no air conditioning or heater, and the bed had a duvet inner with fleece. The water for bathing comes from a borehole mixed with harvested rainwater. Tap water is salty and not drinkable, and no drinking water was served.

The room was serviced to a five-star standard, but there were several problems. It had no cross ventilation and was very hot; I asked for a fan but didn’t get one. The two-plate oven was filthy, though they brought a clean one after I asked. A noisy water pressure pump sits directly behind the room and ran whenever other rooms used their taps. There was also construction on adjacent units during my stay. I had to shut the two front windows when going out because they open and have no bars.
