The shared kitchen made a longer stay easier, and there was also a pool, covered parking and aircon. Our room was neat and very clean. The host was so good that we'd absolutely come back.

There was no water, and we were told to shower before 6:15 the next morning. Who can plan around that? Water shortages affect lots of small towns, but the hosts should have been more open and accommodating so guests could choose whether to stay or leave.

We only spent one night here, though I'd come back next time I'm in Graaff-Reinet. There was a pool and garden to unwind in, plus shaded parking. The room was comfortable and had what you'd need, including the usual tea and coffee, rusks and a coffee plunger.

A good stop for a night's rest before getting back on the road. The owner really puts effort into looking after guests, and the place was clean. I'd definitely stay again.
