Breakfast was outstanding, delicious and a perfect way to start the day. We had a wonderful overnight stay at The Whyte House Accommodation, and everything felt safe, peaceful, comfortable and well kept. The staff were so friendly and always ready to help, which really stood out. I loved the place’s old-time charm and character, with its warm, nostalgic feel. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. I’d happily stay again and definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Graaff-Reinet.

From the room, we could look out over the beautiful garden and pool, with a spectacular mountain backdrop. There wasn’t a TV, which might matter to some people, but the views more than made up for it. Our room at The Whyte House was clean, tastefully decorated, and had a comfortable bed. Breakfast was good, too. A peaceful, scenic place for a really pleasant stay.

The host cooked an amazing breakfast. The rooms are a little old, but very sweet, and the hosts were so kind.

Breakfast on the patio felt like sitting in a bird sanctuary, with all sorts of birds singing around us. Rob was a brilliant host and easy to chat with, and the staff were cheerful and polite. Our room was clean, and breakfast was superb, with homemade food. Such a lovely stay, far more than we expected. We’ll definitely be back!
