I always have a wonderful stay at 8A Grahamstown, and their customer service is the reason. Mo and the team are warm and attentive from the moment I arrive, and they go above and beyond to make me comfortable. Mo handles special requests with care, promptly and always with a smile. His friendly, professional manner makes me feel welcome every time. I highly recommend 8A Grahamstown when visiting Grahamstown. You won’t want to leave!

The front desk gent was super friendly and accommodating, even with some horribly entitled guests around whom I had the misfortune of witnessing. Breakfast was well made, with over easy eggs and poached eggs cooked to perfection. The rooms are spacious and feel luxurious, intimate and private, with quality throughout. I’ve rarely had a double shower as big as this one! The photos clearly show what you’re getting, and 8a deserves five stars in that context. It’s affordable for what you get and only 1.5km from town.

I’ve stayed at 8A twice now, and it’s undoubtedly the best place I’ve stayed in South Africa. Whenever I’m in Makhanda, I’ll keep choosing it. Everything is perfect. Keep up the good work!
