The host was so warm, and they picked fresh flowers for us from their own divine flower garden. The place was clean, modern, and fresh. My goodness, the beds were so comfortable, with crisp white linen. We booked a two-bedroom place, and both bedrooms had fireplaces. The location was a bonus too, and it was easy to find.

We had an amazing stay, Memre 🙏❤️. The self-catering unit was very neat, and the owner was super friendly with helpful staff. It came stocked with different porridges, sugar, Jacobs coffee, tea, 5L spring water, and milk. There was clean cutlery, heaters, heated blankets, a smart TV, plus a stainless steel braai with firelighters and braai wood. The two dogs were friendly, the pool was lovely, and Wi-Fi was free.

The hosts are exceptionally warm and caring, and shared great knowledge about places to explore in South Africa, especially the Eastern Cape. The facilities are excellent and really meet guests’ needs. Mimosa Bed and Breakfast is in a calm, beautiful suburb of Grahamstown. I’d definitely recommend it as a place to stay in town.

A spectacular garden and a beautiful home, with lovely rooms and gracious hosts. It’s welcoming, secure, and well situated. We’ve stayed at Mimosa many times while visiting Grahamstown.
