Dinner and breakfast were both delicious and very fairly priced. Since we were crossing into Botswana in the morning, being only a few minutes' drive from the border was perfect. We enjoyed our short stay so much I'd seriously consider coming back just to stay here, even without business in Botswana. Every part of the property seems to have had a lot of care and effort put into it, making it a charming, comfortable place. Excellent, highly recommended.

The room was beautiful and perfect, and breakfast was amazing. Even though I arrived late, they helped me promptly without hesitation. Really a terrific experience and a great place to unwind.

The beds are comfortable, the food is great, and the hosts are really next level. Weltevreden Country Lodge is a great place to stay when entering or returning from Botswana, just 10 minutes from Martin’s Drift border. This was our second visit to both Botswana and Weltevreden Country Lodge, and we'll be back.

We'd definitely stay here again. The food was delicious and generous, the rooms extremely comfortable, and Petra and Pieter were welcoming and accommodating hosts. The Weltevreden Country lodge makes a fantastic stopover between SA and Botswana.

The accommodation is clean, very comfortable and has all the amenities. Hosts Petra and Pieter are helpful and welcoming. It's a lovely guest farm close to the Botswana boarder post.
