Jenny made our stay so easy, even anticipating that an early check-in would help and offering it to us. She sent useful ideas for things to do around Hermanus and was lovely to talk to. The room was neat, comfortable, beautifully decorated with Jenny's own artistic touch, and had everything we needed. We could leave the car behind a secure locked gate and walk wherever we wanted from the perfect location. The doggies are adorable and add a little extra sense of security. Jenny really goes out of her way for guests. A carefree, comfortable getaway, definitely five stars and recommended. Love Rikki & Jean-Marie

Jenny, who I presume is the owner, was wonderful to communicate with and sent loads of activity ideas. The self-service place is homely, very clean, and equipped for a comfortable stay, with secure parking. Our room looked toward the mountain, though we were still very close to the sea. The old Harbour and Hermanus town centre are both an easy walk away. We loved it and hope to come back soon.

Jenny was so kind and shared ideas for things to do over the weekend, which I really appreciated. She was welcoming and pleasant, and the room was cozy, clean, and neat. It was lovely and quiet, and I'd recommend staying here if you want some peace without spending a fortune.

I stayed two nights a week for four weeks at the Mayflower, and it was comfortable the whole time. Jenny and Graham always made me feel welcome when I arrived, and their hospitality and service are well worth experiencing. They went out of their way to help me settle in. Thanks again, guys. You'll also get to see Jenny's beautiful art, including work on walls around town.

The location worked really well, on the main road and near plenty of amenities and the harbour market. Jenny and Graham were a complete delight as hosts, and we had a very enjoyable stay. Halal-friendly restaurants were limited, though, so our choices were KFC or steers at the whale coast mall. We'd definitely return.
