Marulani Bush Lodge

Thanks so much to Debbie, Talent, and the team. Our Babymoon at Marulani was just perfect. They arranged a game drive on very short notice and really went the extra mile.

We loved sitting on the stoep and enjoying the quiet, with nothing but birds to hear. The cottage was clean and comfortable, and the aircon was a huge blessing. There’s no TV, which was great. The kitchen has everything you need, and the staff are helpful and friendly. The bathroom could use more towel rails.

We stayed at their other lodge, but the game drive was awesome. Riaan knew so much about the trees and animals, and his experience showed. He went out of his way to help us see as many animals as possible.

Our unit, Kierieklapper, was wonderfully private, facing the bush, and had all the amenities. Marulani is a real gem, rustic and basic but fantastic for us. Pack your food, and bring reliable matches because our brand new fire lighter wouldn’t work. Bring towels too if you want to use the splash pool. The wi-fi is no good, and even our own data had issues. It was also hard to communicate with management. Still, highly recommended.
