The fresh, moist air and dreamy setting put me in such a good mood. There are gorgeous buildings and lovely trails, and the whole place is so photogenic. Inside, it has a vintage feel but still offers modern amenities and plenty of space. The hosts were incredibly kind, gentle, welcoming and friendly, and the playful dog and two well-mannered cats were lovely too. Even the other guests were friendly. It’s peaceful and calm in abundance, and somehow feels like home away from home, maybe even better. If I plan another trip to Platt, this will be my second home. I’d pull in without hesitation and refuse to stay anywhere else. Highly recommended!

The manor is close to plenty of attractions, and the scenery is beautiful. We had a wonderful stay, with clean, tidy rooms, a delicious breakfast, and staff who were especially helpful and accommodating.

Nick and Linda were such good hosts, happy to accommodate every need. The peaceful, safe setting and excellent accommodation make this a Garden Route gem I’d highly recommend.

The owners were very hospitable and communication was excellent. We stayed two nights in the forest cottages at the far end of the property and really enjoyed them. There’s a braai and most of what you need for self-catering. The donkey jacuzzi was a treat. It’s also a handy base for exploring the wider Plet and Knysna areas.

The pool was crystal clear, and the accommodation was first class for what we paid. We stayed a week, and the owners took such good care of us. We’ll definitely be back.
