We were meant to have a self-catering stay, but there wasn't even an egg lifter, bread board, or a sharp knife. We stayed five days and only had service once. They didn't even empty the trash bin. Parking was inadequate too. I had to be called out to move our car so other guests could get out. The shower tiles and the ones around the bath were dirty, with what looked like mould, and there was no spare blanket. I don't recommend it.

We had a lovely family holiday, with beautiful views. The room was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed, plus an outdoor entertainment area. It was even bigger than we expected. Thanks to Herbert for the great hospitality. 🙌🏾

The gate remotes weren't working, so it had to be opened by hand. I also felt unsafe because anybody could get onto the premises.

The staff were so warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent. Our room was neat, and the location near the cableway was a big plus. They also offer spa massages at the lodge. A beautiful place, everything felt just right.

The breakfast was cheap and unpleasant, and the price really wasn't worth it. The head patron was helpful and willing to assist, but the property itself is dirty and neglected. The blinds are broken, curtains have come off their rails, some plugs don't work, and the fridge smells awful. It needs a serious makeover. I wouldn't recommend it or return.
