The Blue Crane Villa

We booked three days in early May 2024 for a little getaway to celebrate my partner’s birthday. Gerda noticed the occasion and prepared the room with balloons, flowers, and welcome drinks at no extra cost and without us expecting anything. My partner fell in love with me all over again, that’s how much it meant. The room was perfect, with petals around the bath for the candlelit bubble bath we enjoyed that evening. Blue Crane Villa was extremely clean and well maintained, with stunning views that take your breath away. At night, the Jacuzzi was fantastic beneath the gorgeous skyline over the mountains and the star-filled sky. Breakfast is buffet style, with cold meats, cereal, fruit, cooked food including eggs made just how you like them, and hot and cold drinks. Everything tastes homemade and delicious. Those hash browns especially will have you wanting more. On our last day, Le-Spa provided a three-hour spa treatment at the property. It included full body exfoliation and massage, facials, and pampering for hands and feet. Along with the burbling fountain pool and birds chirping, it felt as tranquil as a dream. Gerda and her sidekick Olga went above and beyond to make us feel like VIPs. In all my travels, I’ve never had such attentive care. Blue Crane Villa has a great location, scenery, and amenities, but what stands out most is the Ubuntu you receive. Some things are worth the money, some are worth far more. Blue Crane Villa is the latter, simply priceless.
