ANEW Resort Hazyview Kruger Park Resort

The grounds were beautifully landscaped, though my stay felt too short and I nearly missed seeing the garden and pool area. The room was big and spacious, and the buffet offered a wide range of good food. Staff were professional, friendly and helpful. The porters were excellent and brought our bags to our rooms. The shower water drained slowly, and the road into the hotel can be slippery when wet. Still, I had a nice stay at Anew Hotel Kruger Park.

The gardens at ANew Hotel Hazyview are beautiful, with carefully manicured lawns that give the grounds a tranquil, old-fashioned feel. The hotel has a nostalgic charm that sets it apart, and I'd love to learn more about its history next time. Photos showing how it changed over the decades, along with information about when it began, would add a lot to the visit. The menu seemed a little limited to me and leaned towards an overseas clientele, with international-style prices. My husband, though, loved the African buffet, especially the tripe, samp and homemade chakalaka, which were full of authentic flavour. One practical issue: bushes hide the sign off the main road, so clearer signage would help people arriving. The staff were incredible. Bongi at reception was exceptionally helpful and made us feel at home right away. Speedy, our waiter, was a real character, kept us entertained and was always ready to help. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and professionalism. It's a beautiful Lowveld hotel with a unique atmosphere and lovely grounds, and we'll definitely return.

Innocentia and Speedy were friendly in the dining room, and Tshepo helped carry my luggage. Bongi's beautiful smile is another reason I might come back. The entrance needs a serious revamp because it gives dodgy vibes. I stayed for a week, and room cleaning was inconsistent, making it seem as if they don't care about the hotel's image. Towels weren't properly changed either, just folded over to the other side. Anew hotels should improve the cleaning routine and make sure fresh towels are put out. Their menu also needs serious improvement, as it doesn't give value for money.
