The room right on the lake was awesome, and the place is close to Kruger National Park. We had good food and drinks, met very nice people, and had a fantastic stay.

Leaving was hard after such an amazing stay. The lake is right there, and you might spot hippos, especially if you take the adventurous trail around the property. Everything else was top level too, from the food and drinks to the hospitality. A place I'd happily recommend to anyone. ☺️

We had great service from the gate through reception and in the restaurant. The lodge is easy to reach on Sabie road and feels safe and secure. Our spacious, luxurious room looked out over a calm lake. The food was delicious, and the fruity mocktail was refreshing.

It felt too modern and sterile for my taste, though I can see it appealing to younger, more critical guests who expect top notch finishes. The gardens are professionally landscaped, and they seem well prepared for loadshedding, with solar panels forming the carport covers. The waterfront accommodation has a lovely lake view, especially from the jetty where you can order food.

Bambuu Lakeside felt peaceful, just right for a relaxing day out, and the food was absolutely delicious. We were warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived. We also found another guest's iPhone in the bathroom and handed it to the staff. They dealt with it professionally, which gave us a good impression of how responsible and trustworthy the place is. We had a really great time this past Sunday and will definitely be back. Highly recommend Bambuu Lakeside!
