Lovely lodge and really friendly staff. Just a fan and no airco, which wasn’t enough for us in the heat we’re not used to. Sleeping was a challenge, so it’s good to know before booking.

We loved wandering through the peaceful gardens, and drinks at the bar under the fairy lights were a treat. The rooms were lovely, too. The couple running Gecko Lodge and their staff made us feel at home with warm South African hospitality. The hearty, delicious meals were unforgettable. It’s well placed for Kruger Park, and don’t miss the Panorama Route while you’re here. Highly recommended! 🌿🇿🇦

Right on the banks of the Sabie River, this is a stunning and lovely place. The team was warm and welcoming, the food delicious, and the service great.

We stayed two nights during our South Africa trip. The accommodation was clean and spacious, and the owners and staff were really friendly. The food was great, with a nice flair outside, and they could adjust dishes to make them vegan friendly. When our car broke down, they helped and supported us. I definitely recommend this place.🥰

The rooms are nice and fit the resort’s overall feel, but the food and staff are what really made the place. The owners are a great couple and do whatever they can to make your stay good. I’d absolutely go back and recommend it to anyone wanting an awesome experience. We’ll be back.
