The location near Kruger National Park and the safari activities were enjoyable, and the staff were generally friendly. We were staying at Kruger Adventure Lodge as part of a safari package, but our confirmation said Private En-Suite Lodge Room and we were given a safari tent instead, which was confusing. A roughly 1 km transfer to a nearby mall cost 150 ZAR, though the same ride was free the next day, so the pricing wasn’t clear. Housekeeping also missed our room after the first night: no fresh towels, the bins weren’t emptied and the bed wasn’t made. The food was good overall, but dining service could have felt more welcoming and attentive. Clearer details on room types, inclusions and extra charges, plus more consistent service, would improve the stay.

The food was amazing, and service was quick. Everyone was kind, and we had a fantastic time. The safari tents were nice, but they don’t seal completely. The door didn’t close properly, with a small gap along the frame, and there were tiny holes at the edges that could let bugs in.

We came away with happy family memories, and the rooms were modest but cozy and comfortable. The staff were lovely and helpful. Nicky the Manager runs the property wonderfully, and thanks as well to Idwell and Alec for taking us on the safaris and Panoramic tour, and to Nellie and Clinton for the food and hospitality. We’re from another country and really enjoyed the meals, despite the negative reviews about the food. Indian guests wanting more spice can ask for their unique, amazing chilli sauce. The safari tours were well organised too. We’d seen some negative Google reviews before arriving and were worried, but we’re confident they were false, possibly posted by nasty competitors. This turned out to be a wonderful stay.

The location and safari activities were enjoyable, and the staff were generally friendly during our package stay at Kruger Adventure Lodge. We did run into several issues. Our booking was for a Private En-Suite Lodge Room, but we were put in a safari tent, which was confusing. A short transfer was charged, then offered free the next day, so the pricing seemed unclear. The room wasn’t serviced after the first night, and the pool looked dirty and needed maintenance, especially the kids pool. Food quality was good, though dining service could have been more attentive. Clearer communication and more consistent standards would make the experience better.

We got a welcome juice and details about the days when we checked in for our booked Safari & Panorama Package. The rooms were fine, if a little dated, and had a fridge. Dinner had a three-course menu with plenty of options, though some dishes were better than others. Breakfast was okay. There was a pool, but it had quite a bit of debris and was only cleaned once during my five-day stay.
