The hosts made the stay special, especially Polla, whose warmth and attention made everything feel easy. They kept us updated on weather and road closures, which we really appreciated, and nothing seemed to be a problem. The guest house is lovely and well cared for, though we were often out exploring and didn’t get to enjoy all the amenities. Thank you, Polla, for your genuine hospitality.

Polla made sure everything was arranged well ahead of time and gave us a very warm welcome. Donald from security was accommodating too, helping wash our cars and get the fire ready for braai. The house was wonderful, and Polla even stopped by the day before we left to say goodbye and kindly gave us an extra hour for checkout. A very pleasant stay with a great host.

The kids loved it, and so did we. The house has lots of space and is well equipped, with an incredible atmosphere. A leafy garden wraps around the covered porch and gives you privacy. The night security was a great addition and helped us feel safe enough to relax. I’m picky about showers, but this one was amazing, with plenty of water for a really good clean.

We were out early each morning, and every evening we came back to a sparkling clean home. The place was neat, the linen fresh, the bathrooms comfortable and the kitchen well kept with enough utensils. There were complimentary goodies, and my little one loved the toys. Polla arranged our booking quickly at short notice, checked on us on the way and welcomed us in person. A very helpful night guard was on hand, and there were charged emergency lights for loadshedding. Highly recommended for a break, especially with Pabeni gate in Kruger park so close.
