Sleepover KMIA

The bathroom had mold, the shower had lots of hair from previous guests, and the bed sheets were very dirty. Staff were extremely unfriendly as well. One person said we could check out later without any problem, but the next day another employee said the obviously empty hotel was fully booked and tried to charge us for staying longer, insisting we'd have to pay for an extra night.

I had no problems during my enjoyable two-day stay. The location was lovely, with a great view, and the rooms were clean and modern. Staff were friendly and helpful. Monkeys came around, but they didn't bother us at all.

You can buy water, sodas, and snacks at the reception shop, though they don't sell beer. Credit cards are accepted. The airport is next to the hotel. Monkeys were around but didn't bother anyone, and there was more wildlife too. The shower was the only issue, as it was really hard to keep the water at the right temperature for long. Still worth the room price.

The lady who helped us was very friendly, and the room was great for the price, with comfortable beds and a shower that wasn't cramped like at other places. The only downside was the steep slope: you walk downhill to the rooms, then uphill back to the parking. Stairs might work better there. For a good price and a place to sleep with the basic amenities, I'd definitely recommend it. When finding the place, don't trust Google GPS or you'll end up at the hangars. Drive into the airport and follow the drop-off road. You'll see it as you pass the terminal entrance.
