The huge bed, with its luxurious silk bedding, really did feel like sleeping on a cloud. The villas are enormous, special, and comfortable, with gorgeous fluffy towels and robes. Timamoon Lodge felt peaceful, luxurious, and breathtaking from the moment we arrived. Dirk, the chefs, and all the staff took care of every little detail and made everything feel just right. We had side-by-side massages looking out at the gorgeous scenery. The therapists were friendly and amazing at easing our tension, especially after the long flights and early game drives. Treatments are 100% worth booking if you want to unwind. The food and wine were hard to know where to begin with. We had pizza by the river and a romantic private dinner. Lizzy and her team put so much care, thought, and passion into the menus, flavours, and ingredients. We ate some of the best food we’ve ever tasted, and Dirk was fabulous and knowledgeable about wine and local places to see. We’re already planning to return. Thank you all for the amazing service. Tinamoon Lodge is beautiful and has such a peaceful feel. Dirk and Dané were wonderful hosts, and the staff made us feel completely welcome. The service was excellent, and the delicious food showed how much they care about their guests. We can’t wait to come back and hope to visit again soon.

The chef deserves a special mention. Her cooking was immaculate, with every bite full of flavour and prepared with real care and skill. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed by the attentive, friendly staff. The place itself is a gem, with a stunning atmosphere that made for an unforgettable meal. I can’t recommend it enough!

The meals were superb, some of the most delicious we’ve ever had 👏. The staff were amazing, so friendly, and went above and beyond for us. This was our first trip to South Africa, and the experience will stay with us for a lifetime. Timamoon is stunning, with a tranquil, romantic atmosphere that felt like a magical dream. I hope to come back to South Africa someday, and if I do, I’ll definitely stop at Timamoon!

I stayed at Timamoon two years ago for my then boyfriend’s birthday, and it was incredible. They took care of us at every turn. Since then we’ve explored other places, but wherever I am, I still miss Timamoon’s service. Glad to see you’re now rated 5 star, you deserve it. We’ll be back soon!! Much love!
