The place was spotless and beautifully laid out. Open the front doors and you can see right through the glass at the back of the house to the reserve. Our guide, Steph, was fantastic and full of information. On our last evening, a pair of giraffes danced on our side of the river as the sun was setting. We couldn’t have asked for a better time.

After a 500 km trip from Johannesburg, this was a perfect place to stop. The rooms have plenty of space for four people, so you’re not stepping over each other. Some units have covered parking, a kitchen, bar fridge, and braai stand. There’s also a pool, a bar, and lots of open space for a walk and some fresh MP air. It’s conveniently located two minutes off the N4 along a sand and gravel road. The staff stayed up late to wait for us, which earns five stars from me. I’ve shortlisted it for my next visit to Nelspruit.
