We booked at short notice and got the friendliest help. Suzanne welcomed us so warmly to her beautiful guesthouse. Our spacious cottage was well equipped, and the bed was really comfortable. Outside, the garden has big trees, lovely flowers, and quiet little spots to sit. Johan was wonderfully helpful with breakfast, which Suzanne made fresh and delicious. The cliff path walkway is just a short walk away. Great value, kind service all round, and highly recommended.

This was our third visit to this stylish, comfortable guest house. It’s an old Hermanus family home, now surrounded by lovely lawns and gardens. The friendly owner provides spot-on service, and we always find the stay relaxing.

The host was absolutely wonderful, and the area felt very safe. There’s easy access to a path along the coast and into town. That walk is a 10 out of 10, I’d do it every morning if I could. At first I was a little confused because the place is also listed as The Yacht on Booking.com and similar sites. I’d highly recommend staying here if you’re planning a trip to Hermanus.

Suzanne was a fantastic hostess, so nice and helpful with tips and recommendations. Our room had lots of windows, plus a small garden and patio where jasmine was blooming and scenting the backyard. The location felt safe and secure, and the cliff walk was only about five minutes away, maybe less. We loved staying here and would definitely come back.
