Marine Square Luxury Holiday Suites

I’ve stayed here with my family four times in the last year, each visit lasting one to three nights. It’s a very practical spot even without a car, and the rooms are modern, exceptionally spacious, and clean. The price seems reasonable for what you get. My one regret is the basic, dark breakfast room, though you can avoid it by eating in your suite. I warmly recommend the place, especially for families who don’t want to or can’t afford to stay right by the sea.

Gina Beanie made the biggest difference to my stay at Marine Square Luxury Suites. She was so kind, always ready to help, and made me feel welcome by taking care of everything I needed. She’s a real asset to the group, and the whole team deserves credit for such a memorable visit. My apartment was spacious, modern, spotless, and very comfortable. You can tell management has put care into the details and into giving guests a top-notch stay. I was thoroughly impressed and am already looking forward to coming back. Marine Square Luxury Suites has won me over.

The apartments are roomy and comfortable, and our unit came with two underground parking spaces. The location is handy for the promenade and a small shopping center, both within a short walk. Staff were friendly and cooperative. There were some drawbacks. There’s no ocean view, so you have to go outside to watch the whales. During the scheduled power outages, which happened once or twice daily for about two hours while we were there, nothing worked, not even one battery or generator backed light. One of the two rechargeable emergency lights provided also didn’t work, a concern with the apartment’s two floors and connecting staircase. Our unit had no washer or dryer either, though laundry service is available.

We recently held a function here, and the place was fully equipped, with a big living area, veranda, and gas braai. The rooms are lovely and large. It’s very central for the awesome coastline, with shops and hiking paths within walking distance. Can highly recommend it for a lovely getaway.
