Hermanus is beautiful, and I saw whales and seals in abundance during my stay at Milkwood Lodge. I hired a car and would suggest staying longer than a quick stop. Linda made the stay memorable, she owns the GH and was amazing, with nothing too much trouble. The views along the cliff path are stunning. There are two excellent bar/restaurants within walking distance, and the supermarket just down the road sells everything you need. I highly recommend Milkwood Lodge. Thank you, Linda!

The cottage was beautiful, spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Our kids could run around and play freely, and celebrating our daughter’s second birthday there really felt like home away from home. Linda was always on the property and ready to help, and she was patient and understanding about our toddler’s special requests. Breakfast was delicious too. My family and I visited Hermanus for the first time this past weekend, and Milkwood Lodge exceeded our expectations. Linda is such a kind, welcoming host. We’ll definitely stay there again.

Linda at Milkwood was a lifesaver. At 9pm, very few places could take two couples, but she could. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. There’s also a swimming and braai area, which would be great for a longer summer stay.

We booked at the last minute, and Linda welcomed us and got us settled straight away. The room was spacious, the bedding fresh and clean, and the mountain view stunning. Breakfast was a 10/10, and the car was parked securely on the property. Totally recommend this place!

We got in late from Mossel Bay, but the host was so friendly and accommodating. She had everything set up so we could come in and go straight to sleep. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, with pancakes, a great fruit bowl, and lovely service. Great experience!
