Michelle and her husband went out of their way to meet all our needs. The cottage was stylish, comfortable, and fully equipped, and Michelle and Gladness made sure anything we needed was taken care of. They set a very high bar for hospitality. I’m so grateful we found this gem in Himeville, and would recommend it for any occasion.

The garden is beautifully laid out and well cared for, and the cottage sits amid magnificent natural beauty. It’s a lovely place to relax and forget the daily grind. The rooms are tastefully furnished and beautifully kept, with cleaning well above expectations. The staff treat everyone wonderfully and work with real skill. I’d highly recommend a visit. What an amazing breakaway!

Michelle had even the things I might have forgotten, just in case, along with tea, coffee, milk, and popcorn. There’s a fireplace and every kitchen utensil you could think of, and the rusks were divine. A lovely little cottage with thoughtful details and great hospitality, and a perfect base for exploring the underberg.

The cottage was comfortable and well appointed, with everything we could want. Our hosts were friendly and easy to approach, and took care of so much for us, arranging a fishing trip, suggesting sights and places to visit, and organizing our pickup for the Sani Pass tour. Some five-star establishments could learn about hospitality from them. We’ll definitely visit again.

Spotlessly clean, easy to find, and conveniently located in Himeville, Glen Islay felt like home. Michele has added all sorts of interesting, eclectic little touches. It’s an absolute treasure. Go see for yourself!
