Premier Hotel Sani Pass

We visit regularly because we love this place. The staff feel like family, and Blessing, the manageress, is kind, friendly and professional, always willing to do extra for guests. David the chef is wonderful too, with divine food and a real willingness to accommodate special requests. You'll love it here.

The views are hard to beat in any weather, and we liked the pools and horse riding trails. The family sized rooms were nice, though the bathrooms sometimes smelled a bit odd and could have been cleaned better. Staff were helpful, and breakfast was good if you ate at the resort. Dinner was a letdown and needs a lot of attention. On our last evening the lamb was very raw and undercooked, so we ended up eating bread and butter. If I return, I'll eat somewhere else, even if I have to travel out.

The waterfall hike was easily my favorite part of the resort. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and serviced daily if you wanted, and the bed and bedding were spacious and very comfortable. Meals were great, though the buffet made sense with the big Easter influx of travellers. I would have liked a mini fridge in the room. The air conditioner sounded like a Boeing 747 at full throttle, and the layout made it hard to watch TV while lying in bed.

The staff were so welcoming they felt like people we'd known for ages, and the chef was very accommodating with vegan meals. The scenery and location were amazing. Our spacious rooms were clean and neat, and we truly enjoyed our stay at this lovely resort.
