The outdoor bush shower, with water warmed by a bonfire, was such a lovely way to feel immersed in nature. The cabins are beautiful wood, and the private game drives and lush surroundings make this a peaceful place, fully surrounded by bushveld. Everything runs on solar or gas. I can’t wait to come back.

The wildlife sightings were out of this world, and the accommodation felt like a home away from home. The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. A huge thank you to Jonathan Beretta from Avoca Bush Camp and Brett Horley from Brett Horley Safaris. You guys rock. I’m already missing the place. I stayed four nights, from 1st to 5th September 2017, for an unbelievable bush experience.

This rustic bush camp made a lovely setting for a girls’ getaway. A real hidden gem, and I’d recommend it for groups of 8.

Jonathan’s safaris were exciting, and the owners made our group feel comfortable, even speaking English. We spent two wonderful days at Avoca Camp, staying two nights as a group of six friends. We got back from South Africa a week ago, and I’d recommend it.
