The ablutions were spotless, and there were heaps of activities for kids. We camped at AKTV Drakensville, where the staff were really friendly and quick to help us set up and pack away. It’s worth booking well ahead if you want to visit the power station, apparently it’s a worthwhile trip. My only gripe was how hard it was to get to the Berg walks.

The drive to the resort takes patience, with some big potholes along the way, so go carefully. Once there, the cottage had everything we needed, including Wi-Fi and air conditioning, and we made good use of the heated indoor pool. Beautiful place for a family getaway.

We stopped here on a trip and were glad we made the detour. The pools were great, and our paved campsite was clean and well kept. Everything felt organized, and the staff were friendly and professional. It was our first visit to this caravan park, but we’ll be back.

Camping here felt welcoming, with people around the grounds ready to lend a hand. The pool area was clean and the water warm, and we had a lot of fun on the water bicycle. A great stay in the Drakensberge, and a must for campers.

We liked parts of our stay, but the accommodation facilities were disappointing for what we paid. Better upkeep and a few improvements could make this a much more enjoyable place. As things stand, we’d be reluctant to come back.
