La Hacienda

I raised these problems in good faith with the woman who runs the place, and she told me to find somewhere else to stay. After that, I can't recommend it. We had been staying here every second Saturday since October last year, so the lack of service became hard to ignore. Two kind long-term guests were the only people who helped us. Management was basically absent, and there was no communication, so on arrival I even had to ask which room was ours. Sometimes the room hadn't been made up, and we'd have to find someone to get things like towels. The rooms also weren't as shown online and weren't properly clean. There were no bins, bedside lamps had no bulbs and their cords were too short to reach a socket, and the fridge was filthy and unhygienic. The shower had mildew, cobwebs were everywhere, and the fan sometimes didn't work or wasn't there. Getting to the place was awkward too: it's not far from the highway, but the access road is in very poor shape and there are no signs. A rooster crowed through the night without stopping.

Even with the rain, everyone in my family had a wonderful time at the 60th birthday we held a few days ago. The food was delicious, and the chefs made me a vegetarian dish on the spot. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and tidy. The venue is right off the salt rock turn off, and two adorable pups joined the party too.

We spent two weeks here for our project training program and had a great stay. The facilities are well maintained, and Yvonne and her team were fantastic hosts, very accommodating with all our requests. Thank you all!

Great place for parties and functions, and everything's set up for self catering if you want to cook for yourself. The people are great, and Lawrence is the best chef I've ever met.
