We had a smooth, lovely stay. The place was clean, comfortable, and just as described, with great communication from the host. The location is really beautiful and could make a lovely wedding venue. It also seems well suited to large groups and wedding guests travelling from far away. I'd recommend it.

The chapel and venue are breathtaking, the food was exceptional, and the service was a true 10/10. Githe and the whole team at Mentors exceeded every expectation. They were organised, hands-on, and ready to help from the start. On our wedding day, Githe kept us calm and supported us the whole time, so we had nothing to worry about. We were there for two days for a wedding. Everyone on staff was friendly, and the breakfast was great. We liked our farm-style room, though we had expected it to have a fan or air conditioning.

The houses had plenty of space, were clean, and had all the basics we needed. The Mentors team added thoughtful little touches that made the stay feel special. We also held our wedding at Mentors, and the service was superb. Githe, Rush, Jade, and the rest of the wedding team were on top of everything, always there and ready to help, and made sure the day ran smoothly. We’re so grateful we spent our special day at Mentors Country Estate.

The grounds and surroundings were stunning, and it looks like a gorgeous place to host an event. The food, though, was far below my home cooking standards. We were served old meat, and I had a runny tummy all night. A few colleagues I spoke to did too. People got sick from the meat served on two days in a row. They need to bring the food up to the standard of those beautiful grounds. I'm very disappointed, especially since they cater for weddings. What they're serving is absolutely unacceptable. Do better.
