Shack on Supers

The house was perfect for relaxing after a day at JBay, with beach walks and good times surfing. We had everything we needed, including two toilets, a fireplace and a kitchen, and you can see the sea from the bed. Wonderful spot with the most awesome view. 100% recommendation!!

We were disappointed that the place was already booked for our actual dates, since we’d been looking forward to staying there. We’d accidentally booked November instead of December through AirBnB, and contacted Tanya from Shack on Supers as soon as we noticed, three days ahead. She wouldn’t offer even a partial refund because of the cancellation policy, and was unhelpful and unfriendly. I understand the policy, but given the circumstances and notice, some refund seemed fair. We eventually found an amazing place in St Francis Bay with a super kind and helpful host, which we were grateful for, but we still lost quite a lot of money. Based on that brief interaction, I wouldn’t recommend this host.

It was the best air bnb we’d stayed at in a long time, and we only stopped for one night on our way to Capetown. We really wished we’d stayed longer. It’s close to both the beach and the shops, and we’ll book here again.

We arrived late, and they were able to accommodate us. The large loft window gave us a view of the sea when we woke up. Lovely place, tucked just off the beach.
