Shaloha Guesthouse on Supertubes

The housekeeper Prudence and Tando really topped off an already first-class stay. The accommodation was superb, with a spacious bedroom, a great balcony, and fantastic views straight onto the beach. The shared areas were large and tastefully done. Can't recommend it enough.

The beach is right on the doorstep, and the views are incredible. We only stayed one night and wished we had longer. It's a beautiful house, with lovely places to relax both upstairs and downstairs. Our room was fabulous, with plenty of space, a sofa, a lovely bath and a balcony overlooking the sea. The kitchen had everything for cooking, though we didn't use it, and the real fire outside was a lovely touch. It was a bit tricky to find the first time, and getting bags up the steps could be awkward since there's no lift. The place is a little outside town, so we took a taxi in and out for dinner and drinks one night, but that wasn't a problem.

Watching dolphins pass by at Supertubes made for unforgettable memories. The beachfront location and the views were amazing, and the breakfast and service were great. Warm, welcoming hosts made it a fantastic experience all round. I'll recommend it and return whenever I get the chance.

We forgot our host's name, but the young woman was wonderful and made us feel right at home. The beautiful house and fantastic view were among the highlights of our Garden Route trip. We only wished we could have stayed longer.
