My husband and I stayed for a week in Feb and loved every minute. We even went to one of Daze House's " Paint and Sip" events, which was SO FUN. The staff, the Rwandan coffee, and my bath were all highlights. We can’t wait to return to South Africa and stay here again. I recommend it to anyone.

The hilltop view over Johannesburg was wonderful, and the staff were amazing all around. The house is beautiful, with decor and paintings that pay tribute to African countries. We also had a pasta making class with a professional chef and a wine tasting led by a seasoned expert. A great stay!

The room decor, art, and themes look spectacular in the pictures. Daze House in Johannesburg,SA seems like a home away from home, and I can’t wait to visit my family there. It’ll be amazing to finally make that dream come true.

The Sunday Picnic was such a tranquil gem in Johannesburg. They played amazing music and the food was amazing. The owner took us on a tour and shared stories about his love for community and art. I had a beautiful time.

I was looking forward to staying here after seeing the great reviews, but my two-night booking had already been paid for and nobody was there when I arrived from overseas at 7:30pm. The gate was locked, the house was dark, and no one answered the phone. I should have been told if they couldn't honor my booking. The management felt extremely unsafe and irresponsible. Very disappointing.
