Guest safety is still a concern here. Employees have used a master card to enter occupied rooms and search guests' belongings. The manager is responsible for allowing this to happen right under their nose. I hope the owner gets more involved.

We often travel between Durban and here, and this hotel was a pleasant place to try. The location near the Norwood strip of restaurants was handy for meals, and the building looks nice. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff we met were friendly and helpful. A few small things were frustrating. There was no soap at first, then after housekeeping cleaned the room the soap was gone the next day. We also had to ask twice for towels because none were put back after cleaning. I was cautious about the borehole water, so we used bottled water for drinking and the kettle. We skipped breakfast, but it seems like a decent option for a short stay.

The staff were friendly and helpful all the way from check-in to check-out, and I felt well looked after. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with a relaxing atmosphere. I really enjoyed my stay and would gladly come back. I’d recommend this place to anyone after a welcoming, pleasant stay.

The reception kept my watch safe after I forgot it today, and I’m especially grateful to Alex, who looked after it for me. The hotel and its service are so amazing. Everyone was respectful and helpful. I recommend staying here. Thank you 😍🥰

We were very uncomfortable in room 101 because of the awful sewage smell. The bottled water wasn't nice either, so please change the supplier. The place itself is nice, and the staff gave us great service ❤️
