Lilian Lofts

The staff gave excellent service and were friendly and professional. The stay itself was uncomfortable, though. The rooms had a strong, unpleasant fragrance, probably from cheap essential oils, and ventilation was poor. The location felt unsafe and way too dodgy, with strong food smells all around.

The street is a bit busy, but once inside you feel safe and can forget about everything else. They’ve turned an old building into loft suites, and the layout, decor and suite interiors are absolutely brilliant. Nothing feels common here, every door you open is a wow moment. The staff are amazing.

I got to unwind at the spa, and Emily was such a friendly, experienced therapist. She took care of all my needs and went the extra mile. Mpumi was very accommodating with my last minute booking. The location was perfect and the prices were exceptionally affordable. I’ll definitely recommend Lillian Lofts and Spa!

Reception and cleaning employees could use some training. We also had to chase them for an extra towel, as there was only one in the room, and the shower gel and shampoo bottles were empty. The receptionist didn’t tell us dinner was included in our package. The hotel is a hidden gem in a busy metropolis, with new, modern, luxurious finishes throughout and well equipped rooms. Breakfast at the restaurant was amazing, one of the best we’ve had. There’s parking outside the hotel and a spa that recently opened on the 3rd floor. We had no load shedding or water cuts during our stay. It can get noisy, though. There’s a mosque nearby, with prayers throughout the day starting at 5 a.m.
