This didn't feel like a suitable place for business or a family stay. It might work better for guys looking to drink and barbecue. We couldn't manage to stay even an hour, though 15% was still taken from our bill. I'm sorry to leave a negative review, and I hope the management accepts the feedback and improves the business. The room felt crowded, with barely space for a single hand luggage bag, and the wooden wardrobe wasn't big enough for our things. There were wooden dolls and carved antiques all over the room. The room we were given had a back door with no lock or hook, opening onto a floor covered in fallen leaves. Its washroom was good, but the window curtain wouldn't slide down, so it was see-through. The place also didn't seem hygienic or properly maintained, and there were lots of mosquitoes. Pets on the rooftop were a little naughty.

The guest house was awful, the worst place I've slept in. Dust was everywhere and there were lots of insects in the bedrooms. Parking was too small, and the kitchen didn't look clean. Their helper wasn't dressed well and didn't seem to like her job. I know it's an old-fashioned guest house, but charging R15 to rent an iron was out of line. Please fix reception, or really, the whole place.

The people who greeted us were nice, but the online photos were misleading. The place lacked hygiene and basic things in the rooms. The doors weren't proper, and their locks were very old. The bathroom was the only thing up to standard. It needs serious work and accurate photos online before it deserves visitors.

The reception was good, and the staff were friendly. The room itself didn't match the pictures and needs serious TLC, with new towels, bathrobes, TV stands, a wardrobe, and other things. I did get a discount, but it still wasn't good value for my money.
