The location in Melrose Arch is a real plus. It felt safe and lively, with good restaurants and shops around. Breakfast had a wide choice and was excellent, and the gym and pool were well equipped and great for unwinding. The Johannesburg Marriott Hotel Melrose Arch felt modern, beautifully designed and impeccably maintained. Staff were welcoming and professional, always ready to go the extra mile. My room was spotless, spacious and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in Johannesburg. I’d recommend it for business or leisure, and I’ll definitely return.

We were there on our last night in Johannesburg and had a wonderful stay. They upgraded us to a spacious suite with a nice balance of style and function. The bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of pantry space for a longer stay, though we didn’t need much of it. The hotel is an easy walk from an outdoor shopping area that felt safe to explore. We got so comfortable in the room that we missed breakfast, but spent plenty of time at the MClub. It was very comfortable, with an excellent selection of food and drinks. Happy hour starts at 5 PM. We’ll definitely be back.

Breakfast was especially memorable. Our server remembered exactly what I’d ordered and that I’m allergic to strawberries. As soon as I arrived, he told me he’d already put in my French toast order. That kind of care made us feel genuinely valued. Dinner was amazing too, with top-tier service. We booked the Presidential Suite for our family, and it was perfect: incredibly spacious and arranged like a high-end residence, with a full kitchen, a large living area, and a washer and dryer, a major plus when traveling as a family. The layout gave everyone space, comfort and privacy, with 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms: two king bedrooms and a third room with two double beds. A standout stay at the Johannesburg Marriott (Melrose Arch). We highly recommend it and will absolutely be back.

Everyone was kind, attentive and wonderful. Sweetness and Thato were especially funny and amazing. Thanks to the whole team for a great stay. The location worked perfectly for us. Ubers were easy to get and always arrived quickly, and there were great restaurants within walking distance. I recommend Mr. George's. It felt like a safe, great place to stay.

Check-in was handled perfectly. They recognized my Marriott Bonvoy Titanium status and upgraded me to a very spacious one-bedroom suite. The M Lounge is one of the best I’ve visited, and breakfast was fantastic, with a great range that included Asian food. The location felt very safe. One of the best Marriotts I’ve stayed at, and I’ve been to quite a few.
