The restaurant was a real highlight, with a lovely atmosphere and lots of food and drink choices. It was easy to relax and enjoy ourselves without leaving the property. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming and attentive, and our spotless, beautifully presented room added to the sense of luxury. I only gave the room 4 out of 5 because we had a cold shower during our stay. Apart from that small issue, everything was excellent. We had a wonderful stay at the D'Oreale hotel, a five-star experience, and I’d gladly recommend it.

We only stayed one night while passing through Johannesburg on the way back to Australia, and it worked really well for a convenient, comfortable stop. The breakfast buffet was a little limited, though that was a minor disappointment. Our room was comfortable and well appointed. It was also easy to dine at the adjoining casino and restaurant precinct, and dinner at Ocean Basket was a highlight, the meal was outstanding. Being so close to the airport made getting in and out seamless, and the complimentary shuttle was efficient and reliable. The front desk staff were warm, friendly and professional from check-in onwards. We had a pleasant, hassle-free stay and would happily return for another stopover.

The one small hassle was the morning shower, we waited more than 8 minutes for properly hot water. Aside from that, we had a fantastic stay. Service was outstanding, and the rooms were modern and luxurious. The on-site restaurant covers your needs, and for more choice, a gentle walk along the decorated paths through the casino takes you to the food emporium, with dining, movies and shows to choose from. Peermont D’oreale makes a great first impression from the moment you arrive at the boom inside Emperors Palace.

We live in Johannesburg and came here for one night to celebrate a special occasion and treat ourselves to living like royalty. The hotel is stunning, within walking distance of the main casino entrance, and every staff member was extremely friendly.

You can explore a lot without leaving the building, with the Casino, restaurants, bars, theatres, shops and a huge food court offering everything you might need for a casual meal. That also made it feel like a very safe place to stay. We were travelling through and chose Peermont D'oreale Grande as it’s part of the Emperors palace complex and close to the airport. The free shuttle was easy to find and the drive to Emperors palace and the motels was short. Our room was lovely and comfortable, and all the staff we met were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The restaurant was inviting too, and breakfast was delicious, fresh, plentiful and had lots of choices.
