The bathroom was filthy, with half-used soap bars everywhere, and I had to get through piles of junk to reach it. Reception didn’t know what Agoda was and had no check-in process except calling the owner when you arrived. The check-in staff could barely speak English and had no etiquette whatsoever for a “hotel” reception.

I’d avoid this hotel. After I booked and paid through Agoda, the staff and owner were very rude and asked me for a confirmation code. They later said they weren’t connected with Agoda and only worked with Booking.com. Even though I’d paid online, they wanted me to pay extra. When I refused, they put me out at midnight and said getting a refund was my problem. The room was in poor shape, including a bad bed. The whole experience was subpar, and I wouldn’t spend time or money here.

The problems started with no water in the bathroom. I couldn’t even shower when checking out, and nobody explained why. The bedding was awful too, with white sheets turned cream-colored and marked by yellow stains. Staff need proper training to make a bed. The heater didn’t work and was missing a wheel, and the cord only reached if I plugged it into a high outlet and put it on a chair. There are no lower wall outlets. There’s no headboard, which I can understand, but at least a side table would give guests somewhere to set refreshments. The TV is controlled at reception, so you’re left watching whatever suits the receptionist. I could keep listing things. Paying before I checked the place properly was my biggest mistake, and I wouldn’t recommend this guesthouse to anyone, even my worst enemy.

I stayed last night and the room was okay, but there was no water all night in either the toilet or the basin. The receptionist told me about the problem when I arrived, but they hadn’t made any arrangements for guests. I asked for hot water in the morning and waited more than half an hour before she brought a small bucket. Guests pay to stay here, so please do something, at least put in a water tank. Thanks.
