Airport Lodge Guest House

We weren't allowed to cook, even though it's a self-catering lodge. There was no aircon for the cold weather, just old, dirty blankets that looked like they might have bugs, and no housekeeping. I've never had such a horrible stay. Don't book here.

Being near the airport was the only good thing. The photos don't match the accommodation: the floors and rooms weren't clean, the shower didn't work properly, and the linen was stained and dirty, with crumbs from the previous guest still on it. The pillows smelled bad too. Towels were only available on request. Maybe you can get coffee for the room if you ask, but we didn't even bother.

The receptionist was incredibly rude and wouldn't even apologize when we raised complaints. The room was filthy, the sheets were dirty and worn, and all they left was one old, dirty grey towel. They also overcharged us for two adults. The hygiene was so poor I don't think this lodge should be operating. A total disaster, stay away.

The bedding smelled awful, the beds felt like cardboard, the toilet wouldn't flush, and cockroaches were running around the room. There was no aircon, despite it being advertised. When we arrived, nobody was there to meet us, and we waited at the gate for ages while our calls went unanswered. We eventually got to the rooms we'd booked, but I'll never book there again.
