Host Hub Guest House

The room was airy, spacious and clean, and the hosts were welcoming and accommodating. My daughter and I had a good stay for two weeks, then had almost another week booked ahead. Things changed when other guests repeatedly disturbed everyone. A woman was screaming at the top of her lungs in a room with two men. The first time, I told the host because it was disruptive, especially with my daughter on a tutor call. He could hear it and asked whether she was okay. The host said the guest wouldn't be staying, which left us feeling we were expected to put up with it until they were done. It happened again, and I took my daughter and left. I understand the hosts can't know guests' intentions when they book, but they could have handled the situation better. They didn't address the guests causing the noise and instead tried to persuade us to stay because it would soon be over. I couldn't stay after that and checked out. They don't offer refunds, though they did return 50% of the cost of the four nights I'd booked. If the establishment has a rule about guests being considerate of one another, it should be followed. This isn't a kid-friendly guest house. My daughter was traumatised, and as her parent, I won't put her in that situation again. I lost money, but her safety mattered more. My son spent four nights here and told me he really enjoyed his stay. I was impressed by how quickly they answered my questions and how thoughtfully they looked after him. The rooms were very tidy and clean too. Definitely a good choice.

The rooms were clean and tidy, and the gentleman who helped us listened to what we needed and pointed us to a suitable place. That kind of service earns five stars from me.

My partner loves this place, and I can see why. I've used it twice for a few hours of rest, and the rooms have been clean and fresh smelling each time. Good value for money.
