We had comfortable beds and a good shower on the first night. My daughter had booked two rooms for two nights so our family could attend a funeral. But when we returned in the afternoon after the funeral, both rooms were still uncleaned, even though it was already after 3pm. We asked for clean towels, showered, and checked out, very disappointed since my daughter had paid for TWO nights. Sadly, we won’t return. Each time we arrived, we also had to call a cell number to get someone to open the gate. With the establishment on a quiet road in South Africa, that felt scary, as you could get robbed or hijacked. There should be a full-time gatekeeper.

Our overnight stay went really well, and we’d definitely come back. The beds were comfortable and we slept great, with a nice room, bathroom and air con. Breakfast was better than usual, with hot food made to order and plenty of it. We had arrived without warning and only called while waiting for our luggage at the carousel, though I should have checked about airport transport. We’d waited just 5 minutes after coming out when a Quantum arrived to collect us. We later found out the driver had already been in bed. The only thing missing was wash cloths. Otherwise, no complaints.

The room was very clean, and the staff were kind and helpful. The service was amazing, and I’d definitely stay again. They just need to activate Netflix, lol.

The grounds are well maintained, and they take care to make sure delegates are comfortable. Food preparation and presentation were wonderful, and the conference facilities were good and comfortable.
