We enjoyed the restaurant, with its very good food, plenty of choices, and fair prices. The front terrace was pleasant for sitting and relaxing, even though there are no formal gardens. The hotel has a lot of character, especially the wooden floors throughout, and it was clear that care had gone into restoring the historic building. We stayed three nights and had a very pleasant time. The shower had strong pressure and lots of hot water. The rooms have been adapted within the original structure to fit full bathrooms, which is thoughtful, though sound carries between bathrooms and we sometimes heard neighboring rooms. Some lighting could be improved, and a few ceiling paint touch-ups are still needed. We appreciate the work put into reviving and running this local hotel, and would happily return to support the business.
