The experience wasn't great. There were four adults in our group, but we ended up in separate units. With guest service only three times a week, how is someone meant to stay for a week without a kitchen? There wasn't even an extra glass, and the facilities weren't great. The beds had separate blankets instead of king-size ones. The walls between units are drywall, and the noise was unbelievable. I can't imagine that being legal! We were also frustrated that # Holiday Club # sells more points than it can deliver.

We stayed in a lovely unit close to the ocean, with a beautiful path down to the sea. Walking it was good exercise, and the beach itself was stunning for a stroll.

The two swimming pools and Dunes private beach were wonderful. The place felt safe, neat, beautiful, and relaxed, and the residents were always friendly and happy to answer questions. They were proud to tell us about the dunes' history and Janine, the lovely woman who manages the property. Our host Adri was excellent too, taking care of our needs and answering my questions. A little mini mart on the premises would be great. It's so perfect. Loved it.

Even with a few hiccups, we had an outstanding week enjoying the sea and beach. There were lots of dolphins riding the waves, and the views of Plett were stunning. It's one of the best places for a break or holiday. I loved the location and the units, and the security guard was friendly and thorough. The housekeeping wasn't up to scratch, and we couldn't get into our unit until an hour after check-in.

I was here six years ago and had such a good time, so I came back in October 2023. The accommodation was still beautiful and neat, but servicing happened only once that week, after I asked someone to clean. The braai had no light, and some towel rails were broken. The tuc-tuc ride to the beach used to be included. This time I had to rent from some permanent residents, since only golf carts are allowed.
