The tree house was a highlight. We only spent one night there, and wished we could have stayed longer. It felt like real Africa, bright, authentic, and unlike anywhere else. During our five days, we saw the Big 5 and the Ugly 5, ate really well, and enjoyed fantastic sundowners. The guides, staff, and travelers from all over were lovely, and we felt safe. We’ll come back. Thank you, great Africa on Foot team! 🙏

We were lucky to see four of the Big Five, plus plenty of other animals. The guides were patient, passionate, and knew so much. The lodge was a great mix of comfortable and close to nature. We also loved meeting people from around the world over shared meals. The food was excellent, and they put a lot of care into catering for us as a vegan and a pescatarian. We’ll definitely return 🤍

Lozanne, Charlie, and the rest of the staff made the four of us feel so welcome during our three days at Africa on foot. We loved the safaris, and the team’s knowledge of the animals was excellent. The lodges were clean and really nice, and the food was amazing. Thanks for sharing your experience with us and making the trip unforgettable. We’d definitely come back 🙏🏼

Our guides Rowan & Antee were great. Rowan is passionate and knows so much about the animals and environment, and he made sure we saw the big 5. We liked having a choice of bush walk or vehicle for the morning activity, with no extra charge, and there was plenty of varied food throughout the day. The rooms are spacious enough, with outdoor showers where you can look for animals or watch the night sky. We did miss having AC, as it got warm in the afternoon and evening, though each room has 2-3 large fans.

We stayed here with our family of five, and it felt like being welcomed into an extended family. The place has warm, authentic decor, and the staff and other guests were so friendly. Everyone was helpful, the game drive guides were great, and the chef did a wonderful job. We’d highly recommend it.
