The owner is full of information and had brochures for every activity in the surrounding area. I was greeted as soon as I arrived and could check in a couple of hours early. My room was quiet, clean, and comfortable, and the heating pad on the bed was great in winter. I’ll happily stay here again if I return to Knysna.
The BEST bacon I’ve had in a LONG time. The rest wasn’t the best place I’ve ever stayed: the walls were thin, people in the room above sounded like elephants, and the safe didn’t work.
My car was broken into on the first night. This place is terrible, with no proper security. Staff say it’s safe, but there was no camera footage of the burglary and no security guards on the premises. A fun town for thieves. I wouldn’t recommend this guest house to anyone!
The bedding is old and small, and the rooms and bathrooms are very cramped. They also supply old, broken cups and plates.
A great location if you’re doing the Knysna marathon. They were very accommodating about letting us shower afterwards.
