Everything was very clean and the price was very affordable. It isn’t plush or luxurious, but it has what you need for a comfortable stay. There’s a kitchenette stocked with the essentials, a small woodstove, pedestal and ceiling fans, an electric blanket on the bed, and a TV. The pool, good-sized shower, comfortable bed, and nice linens were welcome too. I’d definitely stay again.

The courtyard was dirty and didn’t work well for my pet, and the whole place felt far below standard. The rooms and kitchen are old, with dated fixtures, and the kitchen was dirty. In the bathroom, the toilet seat was broken, the shower head was missing, and the water would stop while I was showering. You need matchsticks to light the stove, and making coffee on it left the place smelling of gas. Parking is reverse only, really? The place needs a major revamp. I couldn’t wait to leave, and I definitely won’t be back. I wouldn’t recommend it at all.

The cottages were tidy and had everything we needed, including electric blankets for the cold winter nights. Wood was available whenever we asked, and when I requested anything else, it was brought straight away. Appel and the team looked after us with professional service from booking right through to departure. The establishment is in a lovely part of town. Thanks again, we’ll stay here another time and recommend it to family and friends. Willem Pephome Team.

We stayed in a self-catering place with great value for money, close to the sea. Awesome location.

Getting there means quite a climb uphill, but the accommodation is worth it and the area is quiet. We brought a group of 35, including students, and the hosts were very patient and accommodating. I’d definitely recommend it.
