The estate is beautiful, modern, and well maintained, with lovely grounds. I spotted pickle ball courts. Each unit feels very private, and the room was so comfortable I slept like I’d never get up again, some of the best rest I’ve had this trip. Room Service is available. Featherbed Reserve is only 20-30 minutes away by car. Uber is available too if you want to shop closer to mall shopping areas.

The weather was miserable, but the team still walked us to the car with umbrellas. We had a lovely meal at Knysna Hollow, and Francois had found us the warm, cosy table near the fire that we asked for when booking. Busi looked after us so attentively, and both she and Francois made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious. We’d happily recommend it for a special lunch.

Our wedding day at Social Eatery went so smoothly, and we felt looked after the whole time. Danie and Francois were especially helpful and friendly, and really went the extra mile to meet our needs. Everyone enjoyed the delicious food, which was beautifully presented. We also stayed in one of the suites afterward. It was spacious, comfortable, and nicely set up, a lovely end to the day. Thank you for being part of such a memorable occasion.

We left very disappointed and wouldn’t choose to eat there again. The cheesecake was dry and didn’t seem fresh, and the vanilla ice cream they described as creamy wasn’t creamy. My husband’s hot dark chocolate sauce was cold milk chocolate instead, and it hardened on the ice cream. The burgers were very dry, and the patties had a strange, wild smell that made me wonder if they were freshly made. They also didn’t have calamari tentacles.

The gardens were incredible, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We had a delicious breakfast each morning and a lovely dinner at the restaurant during our stay. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with well-equipped bathrooms. A really nice place to stay.
