A lovely escape from the city, with a private beach, great views, and all the amenities you could want. Knysna and the surrounding area are just a stone's throw away if you feel like exploring. I can't recommend it enough, and I'll definitely be back.

The unit covered the basics and was clean, though it smelled musty. Brenton Breakers is really all about the amazing view. Getting to the beach from there means tackling very steep stairs, unless you're super fit. We were there during Eskom stage 4 load shedding, and with the electric stove out, we couldn't cook or even make coffee. We couldn't warm milk for our baby either. Small gas burners in the units would help at times like that. There's no washing machine in the unit, which makes a longer stay inconvenient.

Clean, modern furnishings and friendly, efficient service. It's self-catering, perched on the Knysna Heads hill above the sea, with fabulous sunrise and sunset views.
