We got to braai during our stay, which made it feel extra special. The guest house is lovely, with beautiful views and sunsets. The staff were so friendly. Thank you!

Rock Guest house sits right in the middle of everything, with a gorgeous drive to it. The staff are amazing, so please remember to tip them. Your 10 pound tip can put bread on the table for five kids and three adults, and they’ll look after you. In town, help prevent crime by dressing like a local, and don’t take your most expensive things into the airport. It’s the safest country if you know where you’re going, so there’s no need to be paranoid. If something bothers you, just speak up. Brenton has beautiful beaches, clean toilets and a beach you can walk along late at night. It feels safe, with one road in and one road out. Diepwalle forest is right there to experience too, oh my word, a must see.

Everyone at Brenton on the Rocks, including the owner, was so kind, friendly and welcoming. The service was fantastic and the whole experience unforgettable. It was my first time in Brenton and I wasn’t disappointed. The location is incredible, the rooms are in great condition, and the main bedroom looks out over the ocean. It can get chilly, but there are wall heaters and plenty of warm bedding. We’ll definitely be back. You should be proud of the experience you give people. Thank you so much!

We came in early May, just as winter was beginning, and had such a relaxing stay. Our spacious family room had a perfect bathroom and the best bed I’ve ever slept in away from home. The staff were warm and friendly, as if they’d known us forever, and breakfast was delicious. It also made a great central base for nearby attractions. From the balcony, we watched the waves constantly pulling at the cliffs below. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.
